Do people ever say to you, "enjoy it, they grow up so fast?" I hate hearing this, but its so true... Since becoming a Mom I have a new appreciation for the little moments, and a greater realization of how fast they really do fly. Little ones grow up in the blink of an eye, and all you are left with are photos and the sweet memories to go with them.
Motherhood is beautiful and messy and every word in between. As a mamma you give so much to your family and you deserve to be seen with them IN the pictures. Give the gift of your presence and preserve this life changing season forever.

Like many others, motherhood hasn’t come easy for me... After struggling with infertility and experiencing a miscarriage, when we got pregnant with Judah he felt like our miracle baby. The unknown of if I’ll ever carry another life, has made every season with our little boy even more sacred.
I wanted to remember his adorable dimple, his blond curls and perfect tiny toes. And I’ve done this through photography. That is my way of preserving the moments that matter most to me.

the heart behind the photos
On the technical side, my love of photography was born at a young age. My Dad had a side photo business and I remember going with him to shoot weddings and family sessions when I was only 7 years old. When he later sold his camera to start an organic farm, my interest didn't die. I would lay on my belly in the grass and close one eye, looking at the intricate details of nature around me, and dream about the day when I would have my own camera and could capture the beauty of life.

Now I find joy in the simple pleasures of life as I savor being a mom and document the journey for myself and other mamas.
